I took the cardboard out of the frame and used a roller to roll brown ink all over to give a leathery appearance to the backing. Then cut the fancy corners with the cuttlebug Mom had given me a while back. Then put it all together. It was a pretty easy project, and I love taking something that is no longer useful (did not match) and making it beautiful again! I hope she likes it!

If I remember correctly, I think my friend Kristine's gradmother crocheted this for mom & dad...I don't remember doing this one...but I could have forgotten after all these years...
Looks nice! I love making things useful again too! :)
I love it!!! It matches perfectly and I have it hung on the wall that everyone sees when the walk in and it looks great. Thank you.
I have a crocheted butterfly I need reframed now for the other bathroom, you should not have done such a good job, now I will bug you to death.
Bring on the butterfly, Mom!
Love this - I have a couple of large crocheted pieces that I had framed for our living room and dining room. (Mike's Aunt made them for us, and they were pretty big!) :)
