At my workshop Saturday everyone seemed to really like this card, so I thought I'd share it. I feel like it is a little bit 'sassy'. I used blender pens with pastels to color in the hearts. The bow was made from two pieces of grosgrain ribbon. One I used to tie the bow (attached with a glue dot) and the other to go around the Pink Passion card stock. You can see, I only used one color ink - Basic Black. Background paper is Pretty in Pink. The card is black, so I'll be using my white gel pen to write in it...
I'll be doing it again at a workshop in early February!

I have a friend who is having surgery tomorrow. I know she was not looking forward to it (who would?!?) so i thought i'd make her a little card to send her way.

This card was very quick to make. I stamped all images, then watercolored them in with a blender pen and chalks! Cut out the flower and attached it with a pop up glue dot to give a little dimension. Sure hope it brightens her day! There's nothing like a real piece of snail mail, is there?

Another Valentine

I'm still working on Valentines. What a great holiday. Especially when you have someone wonderful to share it with! I got the idea for this one from SplitCoast, and changed the colors to what i prefered. I think the glitter changes the whole look of the card! It's amazing what a little glitter can do!
I decided to go against the red & pink and do a little different this year. I'm not really into that color combo. I'm really enjoying the eggplant, as you can see. I've used it in both cards so far.

I am looking for an easy way to share my personal creations, and thought I'd try blogging! I hope you'll enjoy looking through my cards and other things, and that they will inspire you to get creative yourself! What an great release at the end of a long day to turn on my radio, get in my craft closet and 'work'!

I have been trying to come up with some really cute Valentine's cards and this was one I made last week. It is only 3x3 - the smallest card I think I have made so far! It was super quick and I think it is super cute too!
